Dragon boat race held in Fenghuang Ancient Town

On the morning of June 9, the dragon boat race and the duck catching activity were held in Fenghuang Ancient Town, the most beautiful small city in China, providing tourists across the country and local residents with a unique and authentic folk culture feast. The dragon boat race is a way for people of all ethnic groups in Fenghuang Ancient Town to commemorate Qu Yuan and pray for good weather throughout the year. The town is a national famous historical and cultural city. The dragon boat race, as a traditional folk custom, has a history of more than 100 years. It has become a symbol of unity, friendship, struggle and progress of the Fenghuang people.
